Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the Lovevine app, provided by Jonatan Ortiz, Brazil ("Lovevine", "we"). By using the app you agree to these Terms and confirm you have read the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you subscribe, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, together with these Terms.

• You must be 18 or older and live in a country where Lovevine is offered (currently the United States).
• Provide accurate information and keep your login secret. You are responsible for activity in your account.
• Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

Lovevine is an app for couples to record and share feelings, check-ins, answers, challenges, photos and other activities. You can try it as a guest; creating an account moves what you recorded as a guest to your account. Features may change, be added or be removed.

Lovevine is not therapy or psychological, medical, legal or couples counseling. Quizzes, Inner Maps, statistics and compatibility are for entertainment and reflection, not diagnosis. In an emergency, call 911. For emotional crisis support, call or text 988. See also our safety page.

• You only connect with someone who entered your code or gave you theirs. Share codes only with people you know.
• What you share in a connection is visible to the other person, as described in the Privacy Policy. Records you made before having a partner become part of your first connection.
• Either person may disconnect at any time. Disconnecting deletes that connection's data for both sides and works as blocking: the other person can only connect again with a new code from you.

4.1 Plans

• Free: with an account, with limits on how much you can use each feature and up to 2 active connections. Without an account (guest), fewer features are available and data stays on your device.
• Individual (paid): higher limits for you, with any partner, and unlimited connections.
• Couple (paid): no limits for you, with any partner, and unlimited connections. You can extend the benefit to one connection of your choice (section 4.3).
• Paid plans are auto-renewable subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly. The current limits of each plan are shown in the app under My plan and may change; we will not reduce what a paid plan includes during a period you already paid for.
• Limits are counted per partner and accumulate over time (they do not reset each month). Some activities count for both partners (for example, challenges, roulette, date ideas and quizzes) and only work if both have enough left in their plans.

4.2 Price, payment and renewal

• Subscriptions are purchased through the App Store with your Apple account. Apple charges you and processes the payment.
• The title, length and price of each subscription are shown in the app and on Apple's purchase sheet before you confirm, in your local currency, including applicable taxes.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the same length and price until you cancel. Your Apple account is charged within 24 hours before the end of each period. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• How to cancel: iPhone Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > Lovevine, or "Manage subscription" in the app (My plan). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep access until then.
• There is currently no free trial. Family Sharing is not available for Lovevine subscriptions.
• If Apple increases the price, Apple will notify you in advance and, where required, ask for your consent; you can cancel before the new price applies.
• Upgrading from Individual to Couple takes effect immediately. Downgrading from Couple to Individual takes effect at the next renewal; until then you keep the Couple plan and its benefit.
• If a renewal payment fails, you keep access during a grace period shown in the app while Apple retries the charge. If payment is not recovered, the plan expires.
• Use "Restore purchases" in the app to recover an active subscription on a new device or account sign-in.

4.3 Couple plan benefit

• If you have the Couple plan, you may choose one connection to receive the benefit. That partner has no limits when using Lovevine with you; with other partners, their own plan applies.
• You can change the chosen connection at any time. The benefit ends when you disconnect from that partner, downgrade to Individual, your plan expires or is refunded, or you delete your account. Your partner is notified, with your first name, when you give the benefit to them or take it away.
• A partner who receives the benefit may still buy their own plan, which applies with their other partners.

4.4 Expiration, cancellation and refunds

• When a plan expires, is cancelled or refunded, your data is not deleted. The free limits apply again; connections beyond the free limit are paused (the main partner and the one used before stay active) and come back if you subscribe again; photos are kept.
• Refunds are decided and processed by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly. A refund ends the plan immediately.
• Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it with Apple first.

You agree not to:

• use the app to monitor, control, stalk, threaten, coerce or harass anyone, or access another person's account or device without permission;
• upload intimate or nude images of anyone without their consent, or any content sexualizing minors (it will be removed and reported to authorities);
• post illegal, violent or discriminatory content, content that infringes others' rights (including image, privacy and copyright) or that encourages harm;
• impersonate others or create fake accounts;
• bypass plan limits or security, reverse engineer, automate access, or interfere with the service;
• use the app for unauthorized commercial purposes.

• Content you create (text, answers, photos) remains yours.
• You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, display to your connected partner and make technical copies of that content, solely to operate the app. The license ends when the content is deleted, except for backups in their normal expiry cycle and legal obligations.
• We do not use your content for advertising or to train artificial intelligence.
• You confirm you have the right to share what you upload, including photos of other people.

• Photos are automatically checked before becoming visible and may be rejected. You can ask for a human review.
• Report a profile in Settings > Feedback > Report a profile, or by email at lovevineapp@gmail.com. To stop all contact with someone, disconnect from them.
• Non-consensual intimate images: if an intimate image of you was shared on Lovevine without your consent, send a written request to lovevineapp@gmail.com with your physical or electronic signature, enough information to locate the image, your contact details and a brief statement that you did not consent. We remove the image and known copies within 48 hours of a valid request (TAKE IT DOWN Act).
• We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law, or to protect users. Where possible we will explain why and you may appeal by replying to our message.

We work to keep the app available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, failures or reasons beyond our control. The app stores data on your device and syncs when possible. Do not use Lovevine as the only place to keep something important.

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Settings > Data and Privacy > Delete my account). If we discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice and explain how to obtain your data. Cancel any active subscription with Apple.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for user content, personal decisions made based on the app, the conduct of the person you connect with, or indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Lovevine in the 12 months before the claim. Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

The app, brand, design, question catalogs and other Lovevine content belong to us or our licensors. You receive a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app under these Terms. Third-party licenses are listed in the app.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the app afterwards, the new Terms apply; if you disagree, you can stop using it and delete your account.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the U.S. state where you live, and disputes may be brought in the courts of that state. There is no arbitration agreement and no class-action waiver. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your state.

These Terms are between you and Lovevine, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance, and is not liable for claims about the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
